These waters are known for Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Lemon Shark, and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few!

On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Brandon also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Trips with Blue Fly Adventures are open to the whole family, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also remember to bring snacks!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 17’ Ankona flats boat with room for 2 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
