Your fishing machine for the day is a Merry Fisher 695 that holds up to 5 passengers. It has a fighting chair and all the essentials, including a multimedia system to relax and have even more fun fishing. The boat can accommodate 5 people, but the optimal number of people to fish on the boat at the same time is 3, 4 is max. You can still take the rest of the family to impress them with your fishing skills.
You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included if available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

I can only recommend Mateo, he was always very friendly and helpfull. We were 4 people fishing and everyone caught a fish. Targeted fish was scorpionfish and we caught 2. Also a bunch of different fish like red bass, a makrell, 2 catsharks and a moray eel. Next trip we are going to fish for yellowfin-tuna and are very excited for it! That was our first time fishing squid, and Captain Mateo made our first experience a success and we had a lot of fun as well. Highly recommended.
Mateo (the captain) and his boat are the best choice for a guided anglers-trip at this location. The alignment of the trip with Mateo was super easy and also possible on short notice. The equipment and the lures were well prepared. The boat is clean and offers a lot of possibilities for catching fish all over the whole deck. The boat has also an additional trawling-engine to ensure to stay at the fishing-location. We were a group of four persons, two adults and two boys in the age of 8 (+ Mateo the captain / guide). We can recommend Mateos guided tour not just for fisherman but also for families. At the end of the trip we got all the catched fish. Before it was cleaned and cooled by Mateo —> super service! We want to say thank you very much for that amazing trip! When we're back on the island we will also come back to you for the next fishing experience!
As someone without much knowledge and experience this was a super nice activity. The boat has enough space, there was so much fishing gear that someone like me was a bit overwhelmed by it haha, Capitan was knowledgeable, pleasant, cheerfull and supportive throughout the whole process. All in all I will definitely go again and again, and would advise everyone to give it a go. Really enjoyable and worthy experience
We startet at 5.30 am. After 1 hour and 15 minutes we reached the first stop. Mateo gave us a lot of information about offshore fishing and instructed us perfectly. So we have been really successful. 7 kg fish was more than we did expect. Apart from the fishing, the trip was a special experience. We enjoyed the sunrise and the wonderful tranquillity on sea. In addition to the technical information and instructions, we also have very positive memories of the personal discussions
