C. W. Miller Outdoors is here to take to you to those off the beaten path places in the estuaries that surround Rockport. This an adventure that promises a day filled rewards.

Capt. Cody specializes in fishing with artificial lures and soft plastics. Trips are tailored to anglers’ skill level that welcome novice and veterans alike. The two clients to one guide ratio allow for a more personalized experience, to teach the, what, when, and how of fishing.

Your trip will be on a 18’ Hell’s Bay Professional. A poling skiff equipped with state-of-the-art GPS, tackle, and safety gear. Its shallow draft and smooth handling make her the ideal vessel for fishing the flats and back lakes of Rockport. The skiff can accommodate 2 guests with enough space for everyone to fish at the same time.

You’ll be fishing the beautiful Aransas, Mesquite, San Antonio Bays targeting Redfish and Speckled Trout, the crown jewels of Texas saltwater fishing.

Capt. Cody will provide you with premium Shimano reels and Falcon rods, as well as lures that are custom tailored that are sure to get the strike.

Before coming aboard, everyone needs to purchase a Texas saltwater fishing license and arrive to the boat ramp 20 minutes before the departure time. Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, sunglasses, non marking boat shoes (no black soles). Feel free to pack up some snacks and drinks for the ride, there is ice and waters on the skiff.
