Rum Pirate Fishing
+45Bermuda is an amazing fishery for pelagic and big game blue water fishing, with the closest point of land being North Carolina, 600+ miles to our shorelines, which makes Bermuda a gem in the middle of the Atlantic.
Bermuda’s fishing grounds start at less than 30 minutes of running time, where you can catch world-class pelagics such as Tuna, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, Almaco, Amberjack, Snapper, and Marlin year round! We also have two main offshore banks and sea platforms located offshore to the southwest of the island, Challenger and Argus Banks.
Our rates are very affordable, starting at $950 for half-day trips, 3/4 day trips are $1,150, and a full day at $1300. If the fish are biting, we can keep you out for added extra time at no additional charge (on agreed-upon terms). We also provide inshore fishing/reef fishing for Snapper and Triggerfish, fun for all ages, and light tackle to make it a challenge. The inshore rates start at $650 half day and $800 for a full day inshore charter.
The crew keeps the catch, and the fish of choice will be cleaned and bagged for the guests to enjoy it later. Water, soda, and beer are provided. There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for a good time. Rods, reels, and tackle will be waiting for you on board.
You’ll be fishing aboard a 35’ Nauset Marine boat that can accommodate 6 passengers. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. A First Mate will be there to make sure your trip runs smoothly. Tipping is customary to show appreciation for their hard work.

Inshore Reef Fishing on August 5, 2024
We had a great time with our two young boys and baby girl! Caught a lot of fish and our boys really loved chatting with Alex. Only thing I would mention is we went to Dockyard to have our fish prepared at Bone Fish Grill and it was exorbitantly expensive. They charged $30 per person and added in a small dish of fries, some grilled veggies and a cup of fish chowder. Alex told us that we could pick how we wanted the fish prepared (we couldn’t) and that we would pay for sides, drinks and gratuity. Bone Fish also mixed our two fish when we asked them to keep them separate so we would know what’s what. The fish was delicious but after an expensive charter, to pay the same amount for a meal as we would pay if we didn’t provide the fish, just left us feeling taken advantage of.

First-rate first Mate Sanji and Captain Alex created a memorable trip for us .. Beautiful day on the water, fish were caught and brought home for dinner.. were able to view the reeds and a shipwreck.. where the fish were plentiful to view.. great day all around-Recommend A+ :0)

Captain and crew were fantastic, very knowledgeable, and courteous. We caught a ton of fish - almost 200 lbs all together. Can’t recommend them enough.

Inshore Reef Fishing on July 25, 2024
We did a 4 hour inshore trip with Alex & Callum. They were absolutely great! We caught about 50 snapper & a few bonefish. It was so much fun to have a lot of action. Alex even cleaned the fish & cut into filets for us to take next door to a local restaurant where they cooked them for us for lunch. Incredible! The guys are very knowledgeable & friendly. It was a great experience. Highly recommend Rum Pirate fishing!
