If you're going to cast a line in the Florida Keys, look no further than Type 1 Sportfishing. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Pete is prepared to put you on fish.

These waters are known for Tuna, Mahi, Black Grouper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail, Swordfish and more – with any luck, it won't be long before "Fish on!" On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

You'll step aboard a 35' Contender center console with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.
Capt. Pete has rods and reels for you. Live bait is on offer, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 15-20% tip is customary.
There's no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.

Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. So, make it happen, with Type 1 Sportfishing!
