With years of experience between visiting Steinhatchee and now living in the area, Captain Kyle is ready to help you limit out on scallops all season!
Depending on the season, you might hook into Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Flounder, Cobia, Scallop, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Spanish Mackerel, Snook, Speckled Trout, Tripletail, Black Seabass, and whatever else takes the bait.
Captain Kyle will bring you aboard a 23’ Shoalwater bay boat that holds up to 6 passengers for scalloping and fishing trips. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, so you can drive right over and come aboard without any hassle! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
