If you’re going to cast a line in Everett, look no further than Seeking Limits Summer Salmon. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain John can tell you all about the local fishery. You’ll be casting lines from a 27’ Aluminum fishing with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials.
These waters are known for Salmon, Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Lingcod and more – with any luck, you’ll hook into a few! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures.
Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Before coming aboard, you will need to have a valid Washington State Saltwater fishing license with a Salmon catch record card for this trip. These can be purchased at many licensing locations all over the state. There are options for 1-day, 3-day, and annual fishing licenses.
PLEASE NOTE: You must have the physical copy of your Salmon catch record card, this is not available for printing from online sales. If you plan to buy your license online, you must do so early enough to allow 2 weeks to receive your physical license in the mail. If your trip is planned shorter than this 2-week window, please make sure you go to a licensing location, and buy your fishing license in person.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Give yourself something to look forward to and book a trip with Seeking Limits Summer Salmon!

John has been fishing in Washington for most of his life. Chasing Salmon has always been a passion of his, from the saltwater to the rivers and lakes, he does it all. He's had many different boats in his life, and guided for several years in his younger days. Fishing is his favorite thing to do, and after many years of fishing on his own time with friends and family, he decided to get back into guiding. John has a wealth of knowledge and is always trying to find the next hot thing when it comes to fishing. He is constantly trying new techniques to stay on top of the ever-changing seasons and fish.
