The best way to spend one day of your vacation is to go to the sea and enjoy the beautiful sights of Vela Luka. Captain Dario will do his best to ensure you enjoy the trip as much as possible and make the journey an unforgettable experience.
Your boat for the day is a 23' Ocqueteau 715, powered by a Volvo Penta 150 HP engine with a maximum speed of up to 20 knots. The maximum number of passengers on board is 4 people. The boat is equipped with a kitchen, shower, toilet, Humminbird Solix and Helix, Minnkots trolling motor, icebox, diving equipment, and all the required safety equipment.
The techniques include traditional bottom fishing, light jigging, and trolling. All necessary equipment, including rods, reels, lures, and live bait, are provided. Usually, we fish Dentex, Pandora, John Dorry, Red Scorpion, Black and Silver Bream, Squid, and many others. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Plus, you can have your catch cleaned. Now that's dinner!
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
We also offer a slightly more relaxed tour for families and friends that want to combine fishing with other activities. Captain Dario loves having kids on board! Swimming and enjoying the beautiful sea, beaches, and hidden coves such as Proizd, Gradina, and Pržnjak. The captain will provide food and drinks.
Captain Dario will take care of everything, and all you have to do is book your trip aboard the 'Poseidon' and bring your sunglasses!

After Not getting out fishing for 8 years it was time for me again! For my 9 y old son it was the First time ever. On a bright and shiny day we took of at 6 a.m. and had a wonderful father-son-trip. It took just a few minutes to catch the First fish. Dario helped my son to get the hooks prepared so he could pull up his first fish ever. We caught about 6 different species incl Scorpions and Spiders. It was such a nice experience for Both of us. Particularly for me: i forgot about the healing silence of nature. It's a a Great reminder why fishing was my favorite Hobby when i was an Boy/teenager. And: it was a blast for my son! Recommand this for everyone

We had an unforgettable day at sea - we managed to catch several species of fish and our son even caught a small shark, which was the absolute highlight of the trip! After fishing, we refreshed ourselves with a swim in a beautiful cove with crystal clear water and a delicious barbecue picnic awaited us on deck. We especially appreciated the local specialties: home-cured (pickled) tuna and tasty octopus - a great gourmet experience at sea in the form of fish we caught ourselves! The guide was very kind, patient and helpful; he made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a combination of fishing, relaxation and local cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere!
