Port Mansfield has a fish with your name on it, so let Inland Outdoors help you catch it! With Captain Steven at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.
These waters are known for Black Drum, Flounder, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Tarpon, and more – with any luck, it won’t take long to hook into some. On these trips, it’s common to drift and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Steven also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.
Capt. Steven welcomes children aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your adventure begins aboard a 24’ Shallow Sport flats boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
You can’t go wrong when you bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Inland Outdoors!
