Reel Sporty Charters – Jimmy Graham Park
Captain Ricky Spikes invites novices and seasoned anglers alike to join him aboard one of his adventures.
Reel Sporty Charters offers both inshore and offshore trips, however, offshore fishing is their biggest specialty. The captain grew up fishing the Treasure Coast and is familiar with all kinds of fishing grounds and fish species in these waters so whatever your dream catch may be, you’ll be able to get more than enough shots at it.
Your boat for the day will be a 26’ Sea Hunt center console, powered by twin 150 HP Yamaha engines. The boat is able to comfortably accommodate up to 4 anglers, who can all fish at the same time. Its versatile design makes it a great choice for both inshore and offshore trips and it excels if you’re planning on combining both. The onboard electronic systems for navigation, communication, and fish-finding will further help ensure that your day on the water is maximally productive.
The captain likes to employ several different techniques on his trips and based on the fish you’re targeting you’ll get a chance to try bottom fishing, trolling, live baiting, or even fly fishing. The captain will provide all the necessary fishing equipment, artificial lures, and live bait, which is always included in the trip price. If you’re planning on fly fishing, you should notify the captain ahead of time so that he can make sure to have all the necessary equipment ready and waiting for you.
Also included in the trip price is your fishing license so no need to worry about getting one, the captain has you covered. You’ll also have a cooler with bottled water and ice, with additional room for any food and drinks you decide to bring aboard. The only remaining things to pack are your sunblock and sunglasses and you’ll be ready to go.
Now if you’ve taken care of that short checklist, go ahead and book a trip with Reel Sporty Charters and get excited about your next fishing adventure!
