Spend the day with Hot Springs Fishing Charter and let them show you what makes fishing in Hot Springs so memorable! With Captain Terry at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
There’s no guarantee when you’re fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Walleye, Hybrid Striped Bass, Striped Bass, Crappie, White Bass, and more, depending on the season. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Hot Springs Fishing Charter welcomes kids aboard, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board.
Your boat for the day is a 19’ Avid bay boat with a capacity for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary.
Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.
Your trip with Hot Springs Fishing Charter is just a click away, so why not make it happen?
