Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll find yourself aboard a 40' Luhrs offshore sport fishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 18-20 % tip. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.To be fair In the event we have a split charter and you are fishing with another group we equally divide fish filets at cleaning table unless you make arrangements with other group to keep fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We had a great day on the water. Everyone caught fish and shared lots of laughs. One of our kiddos were sea sick the entire time and both the captain and mate were very attentive and helpful with that which we appreciated. Would definitely recommend planning a trip with your family if you're looking for a great day of fishing.
