Depending on the season, you might hook into Black Drum, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Black Seabass, Albacore Tuna, Bigeye Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, and whatever else takes the bait. You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll find yourself aboard a 40' Luhrs offshore sport fishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures.
Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 18-20 % tip. There's no need to buy a fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.To be fair In the event we have a split charter and you are fishing with another group we equally divide fish filets at cleaning table unless you make arrangements with other group to keep fish.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

We booked a charter as a combo Father's Day gift and family trip, even though my husband is the only one who has been fishing on the ocean before. Captain John and First Mate Jim were very patient, teaching us what to do and taking us to great spots. We caught over 30 mahi and had a great time.

best family fishing trip. capt put us on the fish Mike keep up on the bait and remove fish my one son caught 29 fish Crocker's and sea trout. my other son only 18 fish lol my wife and me @20 each great boat 👍. will be going out again
