If you’re ready to have fun fishing in St. Augustine, we’ve got you covered with North East Florida Fishing Charters TFF LLC. Captain Mason will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from years of local experience.

These waters are known for Amberjack, Cobia, Flounder, Groupers, African Pompano Jack, Almaco Jack, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Gray Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, and more – with any luck, they’ll make your reel scream. You’ll target your catch by light tackle fishing, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Mason can also have you Flounder gigging. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.

Planning a family adventure? Kids are absolutely welcome! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!

Capt. Mason runs a 28’ Mako center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
