Blue Ridge Troutfitters invites you to experience the stunning waters of Blue Ridge.
These waters are known for Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, Brook Trout, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, drifting, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Zach also offers fly fishing.
You’ll step aboard a 12’ inflatable drift boat with space for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures and all necessary equipment.
You will need to buy a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. Some essentials to bring are sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board, depending on your trip type.
Blue Ridge Troutfitters will make it easy for you to go fishing in Blue Ridge. So, how about booking that trip?
