These waters are known for Bonito, Mahi Mahi, California Sheephead, Snowy Grouper, Yellowtail Amberjack, Halibut, Gray Triggerfish, Black Seabass, Roosterfish, Rockfish, and more. During the trip, you might be spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep.

Your vessel for the day is a 28’ Super Panga with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Rods and reels are not covered by the charter, so ask the captain about bringing your own or renting some for an extra cost. Before coming aboard, you may be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group.

You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, sunscreen (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor and glass bottles. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
