If you are after a fun-filled sport fishing experience, look no further than Niagara Fishing Adventures! Captain Aldo Nava offers charters throughout the year on either Lake Ontario or Niagara River, Canada. Between April and October, you can join him on Lake Ontario, with charters launching from Port Dalhousie (St. Catharines).
You'll fish aboard his 40' Tiara boat. The vessel is powered by twin 350 HP Peninsular 6.5 Turbo Diesel engines, and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, radar, and sonar. It can accommodate up to 8 anglers. It also features a toilet, kitchen with a fridge, couch, radio, and CD player.
The boat comes fitted with downriggers and Rapala fishing gear, so you don't have to worry about equipment. You'll be fishing using live bait (cut herring), as well as artificial lures. At the end of a successful day, the crew will be happy to clean and fillet your catch, so you can take it home and have a nice meal.
Lake Ontario is famous for its rich and diverse underwater life, so come and check it out for yourself. There's a variety of fish species you can target, including Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout, and Lake Trout.
From mid-October through March, Niagara Fishing Adventures move to the lower Niagara River, where they fish for Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) aboard their 20' Key West center console.

Captain Aldo was an incredible guide for our multigenerational family! Everyone in our group had fun, learned about the lake, and caught fish. All of us, including the kids, came away excited to go fishing again! Additionally, Captain Aldo's boat and equipment are exactly as I'd hoped: clean, safe, comfortable, professional. Very highly recommend!
Our outing with Captain Aldo was great. He was very accommodating and his vessel was very well Equipped. We were a group of 4 adults a 4 year old and a 2 year old and everyone had fun, and the kids had space to rest when needed. We caught several Coho Salmon,Chinook as well as rainbow trout! I would definitely recommend going on a trip with him.

We met our captain at 6 AM for a three-quarter day trip. This was a special trip for me (mom) and my two sons, ages 26 and 14. We had an excellent trip. We were lucky to pull 6-7 fish and our captain was knowledgeable, down to earth and just super pleasant to spend time with. The boys learned a lot. We would highly recommend this charter! It was.a splurge for us and well worth the memories!
Captain Aldo was amazing he really knows his stuff when he's out on the water. I highly recommend Niagara Fishing Adventures. My brother, father and I had a blast and can't wait to do it again. Thank you captain Aldo for an amazing experience.

Over the years I've taken part in a load of competitions and tournaments, and most recently was crowned Spring King of the Lake in the 2016 Lake Ontario King of the Lake Salmon Tournament.
