If you are after a fun-filled sport fishing experience, then look no further than Niagara Fishing Adventures. Captain Aldo Nava offers charters throughout the year on either Lake Ontario or Niagara River, Canada, depending on the season. Between April and October you can join him on Lake Ontario, with charters launching from Port Dalhousie (St. Catharines).
On Lake Ontario, Capt. Aldo fishes aboard his 30’ Sea Ray boat. The vessel is powered by twin 300HP MerCruiser 350 engines, and is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, radar and sonar. It can accommodate up to six anglers, comes fitted with downriggers and Rapala fishing gear, and also features a toilet, kitchen with fridge, couch, radio and CD player.
Charters on Lake Ontario target Chinook Salmon, Coho Salmon, Rainbow Trout (Steelhead), Brown Trout and Lake Trout. These trips include all rods, reels and tackle, live bait (cut herring), lures, water, and the crew will clean and fillet your catch at the end of your trip.
From mid-October through to March, Niagara Fishing Adventures move to the lower Niagara River, where they fish for Rainbow Trout (Steelhead) aboard their 20’ Key West center console.

We had a great time fishing Lake Ontario with Captain Aldo! He was Captain, first mate, tour guide, and fish cleaner all in one! Got us hooked to some really nice salmon. I cannot recommend him any higher, it was a top notch experience! Thanks again!

First time fishing the lake. Had nothing to compare it to. Weather did seem to cooperate leaving the fish less active.
Not having predictable bottom structure like salt water makes finding the fish tough. But we did land 2 really nice Salmon and a third one smaller.
Overall positive afternoon.
