Pamlico&Neuse Bull Redfish 

Captain Christopher Toppings has a trip with your name on it along the stunning waters of Hobucken. He will be your guide, which allows you to benefit from years of angling experience.

Species like Redfish, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks – luckily, Capt. Christopher will have some on board!

Your day begins aboard a 22’ C-Hawk center console that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s always wise to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Bottled water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks for you on board.
