Aguazul Sportfishing is all about fishing the stunning waters of La Paz. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Carlos can tell you all about them.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, Black Grouper, Cubera Snapper, Yellowtail Amberjack, and whatever else takes the bait. You’ll target your catch by trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own.
Your day begins aboard a 21’ La Paz offshore sport fishing vessel that holds up to 3 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s always wise to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks available on board.
Now, time to hit the water with Aguazul Sportfishing!
