Capt. Carson welcomes children, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

Your guides run trips off beaches and jetties along anywhere on the Florida Coast. They will provide all the necessary rods and reels. Trips are run with the help of a First Mate. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before starting your adventure, you'll need to buy a local saltwater fishing license for everyone in your group and complete the Shark smart fishing course (Free). This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
