Make the most of your time in Captiva and go fishing with Floridaze Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Brandon can tell you all about them.
These waters are known for Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Gag Grouper, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Jack Crevalle, Tarpon, Lane Snapper, Snook, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum, Mangrove Snapper, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some. You can expect to do some spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Capt. Brandon believes in teaching kids to fish while they're young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
Your excursion begins aboard a 22' Pathfinder bay boat with room for 6 passengers. It comes with a fighting chair and everything else you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, so all you have to do is show up ready for a good time! Have in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. It's recommended to bring sunblock (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

3/4 Day Trip on June 4, 2024 • 2 adultsMy 13 year old daughter and I went inshore fishing with Captain Brandon and had a blast. We caught five different species and had a great day. Brandon knows his stuff and is really good at keeping you on fish and keeping you with a line in the water all day. My daughter had a great day too. Brandon was really nice to her without treating her like a little kid. Let her really do her thing. The best fish we caught were red drum, but we also targeted sea trout. The bite was better early in the day, but I can honestly say we did as well as the fish would allow. We have fish in the fridge and will definitely book with Brandon again.

Full Day Trip on April 18, 2024 • 2 adultsTo start off we had great communication with the captain and he asked what we wanted to catch before the day we hit the water. He was prepared for what we asked for and put us on every thing we asked for! We caugh double onshore slams (Sea trout,redfish,snook) hooked into some tarpon as well they were just being fierce and we weren’t able to land them but great times. We had also requested sharks and he put us on 2 in a small matter of time my girlfriend and I were both able to land 2 sharks a black tip and sandbar shark it was amazing! I would highly recommend this Carter service and I know at the very least I will be back!

Half Day Trip on June 6, 2024 • 2 adultsCaptain Brandon was awesome.....he freed up his schedule to take us on an AM fishing trip when our other charter's captain had a family emergency. He put us on fish immediately. We hit our limit of snapper quickly and then moved on to "just for fun" fishing at several smaller islands in the Pine Island Sound. We were able to reel in Snook, Yellowtail, Trout, Gag Grouper, Redfish, etc.... Would recommend this type of trip for fun or if you want to catch and eat. Many thanks to Captain Brandon......blackened Redfish is some of the best eating you'll every experience!!

Captain Brandon was great. He communicated really well and fulfilled all of my family’s requests. We had an enjoyable morning catching game fish. Captain Brandon explained what he was doing to help us understand how to catch the targeted fish. We fished in a few different spots as Capt. Brandon kept us on the fish for my kids to enjoy an action packed experience. Capt. Brandon was enjoyable to be around and was great with my kids asking questions.
