Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Largemouth Bass, Striped Bass, White Bass, Common Bream, Catfish, Crappie, Flathead, Hybrid Striped Bass, Yellow Perch, and who knows what else! You'll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, and bottom fishing. Any fish within the legal limit is yours to keep. Catch cleaning is available for an additional fee.
You'll be welcome aboard a 22' Tri-toon with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Lake Conroe Fishing Guide is a child-friendly charter service, so get 'em offline and onto the water! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. My brother is an excellent angler and I'd only ever caught a single fish! Ray patiently taught me the basics and I caught quite a few catfish. We made them for supper like our mom did, and it was such a treat. We plan on going back when my brother and his wife come back to visit from Indiana. Ray is a super nice guy, and he and my brother exchanged dumb dad jokes.

Today was the first time my wife and I have hired a guide to take us fishing. Im telling you, we struck GOLD our first time out. We went out with Captain Ray Hunt and we were throughly impressed. Ray had several great fishing spots and kept us on the fish! Took home a full cooler of channel and blue cats, which is what we were looking for. Super nice and knowledgeable. Our family had a great time. We would definitely recommend his guide services!
