Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Capt. Greg operates a 25' Sportcraft offshore sport fishing boat with space for 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and everything else you would need to land the trophy fish!
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It's customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It's never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Had a great time. Caught lots of fish and gave 2 13-year-olds bragging rights for the summer. Captain Greg was fantastic with the 2 boys kept them under control. Kept them occupied with fish On the line and his knowledge of the Great Lakes. couldn’t have asked for a better trip.
Captain Greg recommended that we move our departure location from Cedarville to De Tour Village for better fishing, and we ended up landing a bunch of lake trout on a picture perfect day! We think we had a couple salmon on the lines but they ended up fighting until they released themselves. No matter, as we have plenty to cook for our fish tacos that we are cooking right now! Great trip, highly recommended.

Captain Greg & First Mate Cari are the best!! We caught a king salmon at 6:40 am, then 12 trout the remainder of the trip!! They answered all our Q and were delightful!! We are a family of 5 adults and it was just right for us! Just remember folks, get your MI fishing license and hop aboard, you won’t be disappointed!
Had theree kids on the boat and we caught tons of lake trout! They said it was “epic” and Greg was awesome!
Caught our limit on Trout! Unfortunately the salmon weren't biting. Overall, we had a great time and Captain Greg was knowledgeable, pleasant and very helpful. I would recommend his services highly
