Depending on conditions, you might hook into Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Red Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Sheepshead, Black Drum, Amberjack, Tripletail, Cobia, and plenty more. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Capt. Brandon is happy to have kids aboard, so go ahead and bring the whole family along! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Snacks are also a good idea so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!
You’ll step aboard a 22’ NauticStar bay boat with space for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
There’s no need to buy a fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

8 hr trip and caught lots of fish. Captain was great. He stayed in touch all week with weather and had a plan if water was too rough to go offshore. He was prompt on answering any questions before the trip. Recommend Captain Brandon for a great trip.

Captain Brandon knows everything there is about fishing our local waters. He knows what lures or bait to use for each fish, depending on the time of the day or time of the year. All his equipment is top of the line and he keeps his boat clean and organized. He is very nice, always offered tips and advice to catch more fish. He also shared fishing spots at other times of the year. I would HIGHLY recommend fishing with Captain Brandon.
