Make some memories in Connecticuts beautiful long island sound and go fishing with Baytime Charters. With Captain Samuel at the helm, you’ll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

Species like Tautog, Flounder, Scup (Porgy), Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito, Weakfish, Little Tunny, Black Seabass, and more can be found in these waters if you come at the right time of year. On the day of your trip, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Samuel also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Snacks are never a bad idea so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty belly!

You’ll be welcome aboard a 22’ Bay boat with room for 4 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Samuel will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish. It’s always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), and sunglasses. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
