Make some memories in Port Charlotte and go fishing with Cornhusker Charters. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Timothy can tell you all about them.
Around here the fishing is popular for Black Drum, Cobia, Flounder, Jack Crevalle, Redfish, Blacktip Shark, Bull Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Nurse Shark, Mangrove Snapper, Snook, Tarpon, and more with any luck.
On these trips, you can expect to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
You’ll be casting lines from a 25’ Center console with space for 6 passengers. It has and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, a hat, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

The wind and weather weren't in our favor fir this trip. It was like the fish had been blown out. We would get some bites here, a small fish there, and some places we wouldn't even get a bite. This was not fir Tim's lack of trying. We dodged rain storms that blew through and Tim was constantly trying to find and put us on the fish. I definitely do not blame him for the fish not being there.
