Belmar has a fish with your name on it, so let Seaz Nutz Fishing help you catch it! With Captain Matt at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Striped Bass, Thresher Shark, Cobia, Squid, Flounder, Mahi Mahi, Bluefin Tuna, Bonito, Scup (Porgy), Yellowfin Tuna, Black Seabass, Tautog, and whatever else is biting. On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there’s bowfishing.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
You’ll be welcome aboard a 36’ Cape Horn center console with a capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it’s customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that some fish may have harvest limits or closed seasons. If you don’t know what to expect, ask the captain. Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
