Hali Hunter – Comox

Hali Hunter Fishing Charters service a variety of locations on the east coast of Vancouver Island, including Comox, Hornby, Denman, and Texada Island. Captain Sean Fredriksen has been Salmon fishing for as long as he can remember, so he’ll make sure that you have an amazing experience in these waters.

He’ll take you fishing out of the popular fishing town of Comox, which has in recent years become popular with tourists thanks to its beautiful wildlife, skiing, golf and, most importantly, fishing. With calm waters and frequent whale and porpoise sightings as well as a world-class Salmon fishery, this is the perfect location for a fun fishing trip.

Hali Hunter Charters’ boat is a 23’ Harbercraft Kingfisher boat well suited to fishing the waters east of Vancouver Island. It is powered by a 225 HP Yamaha outboard motor, and onboard features include a range of electronics. It is also equipped with downriggers to give you access to the biggest Salmon and an anchor for bottom fishing.

Capt. Sean will provide you with all the fishing equipment you’ll need throughout your trip, as well as live bait and artificial lures. He’ll be more than happy to clean and fillet any fish that you’d like to take home with you for a delicious meal.

The crew specializes in fishing for Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, and Rockfish. They use a variety of techniques including bottom fishing, trolling, and jigging. You can also do some fly fishing, but you’ll have to bring your own fly fishing gear.

Join Hali Hunter Fishing Charters and have an unforgettable fishing adventure in the waters of Comox!

Being raised Salmon fishing from as far back as I can remember. The ocean is in my blood. My love for fishing has taken me all over the coast of BC. From Prince Rupert to the waters around Vancouver Island. I get to share this knowledge and have a great adventure each time we go out! Happy to have you onboard!
