Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

You’ll be dropping lines from a 20’ Starcraft aluminum fishing boat with space for 4 passengers. It has downriggers and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Ryan will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
