Chillin Charters 

Chillin Charters is your ticket to the stunning waters of Panama City. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Michael can tell you all about them. Michael is currently a Paramedic Firefighter for the area as well.

Depending on conditions, you might hook into Amberjack, Cero Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Vermilion Snapper, Lane Snapper, Gag Grouper, Grunt, Almaco Jack, Kingfish, Red Snapper, Wahoo, and whatever else takes the bait. During the trip, you might be trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Michael runs a 25’ palmetto custom console that comfortably holds up to 4 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive and fun day on the water. The captain will supply rods and reels for you, a fish box filled with ice, frozen bait, and lures/all fishing tackle. Live bait is not provided in price; we advise picking up live bait from bait boats if they have them while heading offshore. A first aid kit is on board as well.

A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates work hard to make your trip count, so a 10–20% tip is customary. Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Ask, and your captain can tell you more.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids ages 8 and up are welcome aboard! Please bring your own children’s life vest. You can’t go wrong when you bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, towels, a hat, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. You can bring a small cooler.
