KYS Outdoor Adventures – La Push & Puget Sound Fishing Charters
Looking for one of the top rated fishing charters in La Push or in Puget sound for a fun family fishing trip? At KYS Outdoor Adventures, we run year-round fishing charters in Washington, perfect for families, friends, with groups up to 6 anglers. Our 31' Uniflite Offshore Sportfisher is comfortable, safe, and fully equipped with a heated cabin, private restroom, and top-quality fishing gear.
March through October is prime season in La Push, WA, where we target seabass, lingcod, and halibut. If you're after a true Northwest trophy, our Washington halibut fishing trips (May, June, and August, plus select September days) are a can't-miss. And when conditions line up, albacore tuna trips are from late June–August deliver fast action offshore.
November through April, we switch to Puget Sound flounder fishing trips. These are a great option for families with kids, first-time anglers, or anyone who wants to enjoy the outdoors and bring home a cooler of fish without a long travel day.
We're available 7 days a week, but many of our most popular trips run Thursday–Sunday, ideal for weekend getaways. Need a place to stay? We can assist with lodging near La Push, Sequim, or Seattle to make your trip simple and stress-free.

BEST GUIDE WE’VE EVER HAD

I fly in from Oklahoma every year to take my oldest grandson fishing.
This year we lucked out and found Lamont . This guy worked his tail off to make sure all on board had everything they needed. He’s a very down to earth man that loves what he does and is easy to communicate with. He constantly put us on massive fish and kept the fun alive . Hi boat is clean, his first priority is safety of everyone onboard and he makes sure you have a fun and unforgettable adventure.
We will be seeing him again.

A few drifts and you were dialed in!! and they way you put the young ones first was awesome!! Having very young grandchildren myself, i was inspired by your grandson’s manors and love for fishing. You’ve done good work sir. I’m looking forward to seeing you and your family again.And I didnt even see you getting that video. That made my day!

Captain Lamont has a load of 5 star reviews for a reason. He’s excellent at his job.
Punctual, extremely responsive, safety minded, kind, great with kids. All on top of him being an excellent fisherman and boat captain!
This was a first fishing trip for my kid, my nephew, and my friends kid. A brand new teenager and two little guys and the kids and their dads all had fun.
They have a bathroom on the boat, it was comfortable and Captain Lamont was amazing when my little guy got seasick. My seasick little guy still caught a bunch of fish!!! We all hit our limit, but even if we hadn’t, it would’ve been super cool just hanging on the boat with him. We were on the boat for less than an hour and decided we’ll be back with him for sure.
All that to boot, he saved our trip - we booked with him last minute when another charter that we had booked for months backed out.
Go fish with Captain Lamont, you won’t go wrong.

“Get the Grill Ready!”

Those were the words Captain Lamont texted shortly before our arrival to the dock on a gorgeous Wednesday afternoon. From the moment he met us, Lamont exuded confidence and positivity energy. That’s the kind of attitude that attracts fish, I guess, because within the hour, we hit big. By hour three, we had made our limit of sea bass (rockfish), lingcod, and greenling. The short return gave us sightings of a grey whale, bald eagles, and some playful harbor seals. Back at shore, we met a very cool guy with Fish & Wildlife named Noah. He had a few fun stories to share about life in the port. La Push has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the country to fish. Thanks everybody for a killer day on the water. Now it’s time to get this fish on the grill!

Perfect for my Family

Our family had an amazing trip with Lamont. My 12 year old said “We got lucky-he is the best”. He didn’t just guide us; he taught us why we fished where we did and how the fish reacted to our presentation. He was knowledgeable, kind and great with kids. I have had good captains before, but Lamont set a new standard for family charters.
