Perfect Trip!
4 Hour-Nearshore <20 fathoms (PM) on May 24, 2025
Lamont took myself and my youngest son out for a near shore trip. I was a bit anxious about showing my son a really good time for his first excursion, as lots of elements are needed to make for a great first experience. Lamont of course found all of the right places and had all the right gear, but more importantly, he showed my son the ropes. Huge sense of pride when my son reeled up his first rockfish, using the techniques that Lamont had showed him. Patience is necessary when it comes to new anglers, and he had it in droves. The experience Lamont provided for us helped lock in a lifelong angler!

We had an extraordinary day fishing with Captain Lamont. Had our rockfish limit with in an hour½. In addition, we also caught a couple of other species which we also kept. He was very knowledgeable in terms of the areas we fished & was determined to put us on fish. The 4 of us had a great day which we'll remember for many years to come. Many thanks to Captain Lamont & we'll see you again very soon!

I booked a 4-hour group nearshore / bottom fish adventure tour for my family. My family (Wife, 13 & 9 year old daughter) and I had never gone fishing before. Captain Lamont and Kahalid made our experience beyond memorable. We all caught our fish fish ever on the tour and as a group we caught our limit. The process was seamless. Just show up and have fun. Captain Lamont and crew took care of the rest. They provided all the equipment and even fileted our catch. I would highly recommend any of his tours and we will definitely be booking again. My daughters had a blast and have not stopped talking about it. Thank you Captain Lamont & Kahalid!!!

Half Day fishing trip
4 Hour-Offshore >20 Fathoms (PM) on July 30, 2024
Our family of 6 went on a half day fishing trip leaving from La Push. It was amazing! The weather was not great, but Capt. Lamont made sure to "test the waters" before our trip, and it paid off - out on the water it was beautiful. Once on the water, he and Kahalid were everywhere helping all of us. Between showing us what to do, reeling in fish, unhooking them and fixing broken lines - they were non-stop! He was always attentive to who was catching and if we were not, we move to a better spot. Full of information about the area, fishing and casual conversation. They filleted all our fish giving us food for days. I loved going out of La Push, small marina, easy to find and what a spectacular area to explore.

Awesome day halibut fishing
8 Hour Trip – Halibut on September 29, 2024
I booked this trip as a birthday present for my sister, and it couldn't have worked out better. Ended up taking my whole family and we all had a truly unforgettable experience. We caught the tail end of halibut season and managed to bring in our limit of halibut and nearly our limit of lingcod. Lamont and Kahalid took such great care of us - I really couldn't have asked for better guides for our trip, and I hope to get the chance to book something with them again. I highly recommend booking a trip with them, you won't regret it!
