Make an adventure out of your next trip to Hernando Beach and go fishing with Royal Sea Excursions. With Captain Mace at the helm, you’re in knowledgeable and experienced hands.
Master Captain Mace is a Marine Corps infantry combat Veteran of the Iraq War. Upon his return home, he furthered his passion for public service in civilian life, working EMS responding to 911 calls, furthering his call to save lives. Have peace of mind when you’re on the water!
Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Gray Triggerfish, Hogfish, Cobia, Amberjack, Tiger Shark, Yellowtail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year.
Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Mace also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. For the more adventurous among you, there’s spearfishing.
Your day begins aboard a new 36’ Power Catamaran that cruises 35 mph and boasts a 12’ beam that makes the ride so smooth it’s no wonder nobody has been seasick! People are calling it, hands down, the best boat around! You’ll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is available. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience.
You’ll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation. The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.
Your fishing trip with Royal Sea Excursions is just a click away!
