I wanted my 10 year old son to have a memorable first fishing trip. I read reviews for months and Cody’s reviews said he was great with kids. Bonus that he had an 8am trip available in August so we didn’t have to get up super early. My son absolutely enjoyed every minute of it. He was appreciative that Cody took the time in teaching him how to cast and feel for biting fish. By the end of 4 hours, I could hear the whip of the line when he was casting. Cody was patient and a great teacher. He took the fish off the hook and baited faster than any of us could. It gave us every opportunity to reel in an abundant amount of fish. We caught about 20-25 Rainbow Trout in 4 hours. We highly recommend Cody! We will book with him again in the future.

A great day of fishing with Cody Spetz! Great Captain! Great guy! Caught lots of fish on a half day trip! 25-30 Spotted bass and Smallmouth! The trout bite was on this morning! We limited out on trout early on, so we we cruised up into some of the small creeks and my Son was able to catch 2 pretty decent Bass. We ended the day down by Lillys Landing where my Dad got a 18.5 inch Rainbow. Cody was super professional and definitely knew where the bite would be! We had a great time and he even gave us a great tip on a place to relax and have some great cocktails and cigars.

My wife and I had a great day out on the lake with Cody. Cody’s boat is in excellent condition along with his gear. His expertise put us on the fish all trip and we appreciated learning new bass fishing techniques. We also appreciated how engaging he was in conversation; it was a joy getting to know one another. Highly recommend booking him. We’ll definitely be returning customers!

Cody provided excellent tips and guidance, making the trip both enjoyable and successful for both myself and my 16yr old son. We caught trout and bass. The boat was clean and well-maintained, and he made sure that we had a great experience on the water.
