You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Blake runs a 20’ Ranger bass boat with room for 2 passengers. It has all the essentials. Capt. Blake will supply rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Before coming aboard, you will need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
It’s never a bad idea to bring sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is not allowed. There will be some light snacks included on board.

We had such an amazing time on our AM trip! Correspondence leading up to the trip was perfect and very timely. Captain Blake was so incredibly knowledgeable and we learned so much from him! We caught some awesome fish and Captain Blake was great at moving us into spots to get the bite. This by far was one of our favorite charters we have done. Thank you Captain Blake! Capt. Blake provided clear Communication from the moment we booked him. He is very knowledgeable about the area. We were on fish all day, never bored. The scenery was amazing. Tennessee did not disappoint. We had a great day on the water. Caught lots and lots of fish and great memories.

Captain Blake was very knowledgeable and was very good at explaining what we were looking for. We used a few different techniques. We couldn’t get on them in the morning so he let us stay out for a little while longer so we could get some fish in the boat. He wasn’t going to stop until we got on them. Great guy
