Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Cubera Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Black Grouper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Snowy Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Amberjack, and whatever else takes the bait. You’ll target your catch by spinning, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your fishing machine for the day is a 26’ Intrepid with space for 6 passengers. It comes with outriggers and everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but it’s good to ask about this so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself. The charter boat covers your fishing license.

Families making a day of it will be glad that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
