Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Black Drum, Flounder, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Redfish, and whatever else takes the bait. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself spinning, popping, jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don’t have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there’s one on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your adventure begins aboard a 28’ Encore Boat Works Catamaran that holds up to 5 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. It’s customary to tip the Mate 10–20% to show your appreciation.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. You can’t go wrong when you bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
