Seafood Charters offer you the unique opportunity to enjoy the excitement of recreational charter fishing from the angle of a commercial fisherman. Based out of Bradenton Beach, they have easy access both to the fantastic inshore fishing of the local bays, and to the great nearshore fishing available in the Gulf of Mexico.

Capt. Keith McGlade fishes aboard a 23 ft Carolina Skiff that is well equipped for a fun charter trip. It was recently restored in 2016 and features a GPS and fishfinder, as well as ample storage for live bait and the full range of necessary first aid equipment. Powered by a 140 HP Suzuki engine, the boat can reach the fishing spots in no time, so you can make the most of your time on the water.

Inshore fishing with Seafood Charters could involve targeting a variety of species, such as Snook, Redfish, Trout and more. Offshore trips are also exciting, and benefit greatly from Capt. Keith’s experience as a scuba diver. Having spent countless hours exploring the ledges, reefs, and wrecks that he fishes, Capt. Keith has a superior knowledge of what lies beneath him every time he drops his line. These trips could involve fishing for a variety of species including Grouper, Snapper, King Mackerel, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, depending on the season and conditions.

If you want to combine fishing with sightseeing or snorkeling, this is also an option: Capt. Keith enjoys running eco tours around the intracoastal waterway, where you can spot Dolphins, Manatees and a variety of bird species, as well as snorkel around the ruins of a fort built during the Spanish American war on the Egmont Key wildlife refuge.

All the fishing tackle, bait and lures you will need during your trip are included in the price of the charter, and fishing licenses will also be supplied for everyone on board. The captain will also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day free of charge.

The boat and equipment were basic, but the captain was great and made for an enjoyable trip.  We thought the trip was great for the money.

A random search on google guided us to a very nice fishing trip. Captain Keith was very helpful and put in all the effort with his instructions and helping us find and catch some nice fish. My boys formed a good connection with him and were happy

Mt son and I had an awesome time fishing with Seafood Charters. The Captain took us to some quality fishing holes that produced well and we had an equally good time spending the day in conversation with him. We look forward to another trip soon.,
