Local species include Garfish, Smallmouth Bass, Hybrid Striped Bass, Musky, Carp, and more if you come at the right time of year. Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Your guide also offers fly fishing and will include the fly gear.
You'll be dropping lines from a 13' Drift boat with a capacity for 2 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself. Kids are welcome.
Before coming aboard, you'll be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Trips are strictly catch-and-release, so the fish you catch will be returned to the water.
Don't leave home without sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. Snacks and drinks will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My daughter recently moved to town so I wanted a fly fishing guide to the area. it happened to be right at the beginning of a heat wave so the fish just had lock jaw. This did not stop Drake and he ended up giving me a tour of the city looking for fish. I would, and will book another trip with LMRO again.
Drake put me on more fish than I could count! Extremely helpful with showing me where and how to cast a fly rod and very patient! Great guy and can’t wait for the next one! I’d tell anyone book this dude he will put you on the fish!
