Pike Perch (Zander), Northern Pike, European Perch, Asp, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely using light tackle. Capt. Toine also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. Fishing on these trips is limited to catch and release, aside from one fish you will be able to keep.
Want to bring your kid? That is no problem from age 12. Make sure you are properly dressed for the weather and bring boots. On the large river is it always a bit colder and you might get wet from the waves while we move to the next hotspot. Also, remember to bring snacks and drinks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!
Your day begins aboard a 16’ Starweld aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 2 guests. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Toine will provide rods (St. Croix, Berkley, Fox, high-end rods) and reels for you, as well as lures. Make sure to check with the captain on the river you would like to fish on, to arrange the place to meet.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. The information is available after booking. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

My dad taught me fishing when I was 6. I have owned a fishing boat since 1994 and I specialize in predator fishing. My heart is on fishing the larger rivers in the Netherlands. My boat is on a trailer so we can go fishing almost anywhere. We fish on the rivers Rijn, Lek, Maas, Oude Maas, Waal, Boven Merwede, Beneden Merwede, Nieuwe Merwede, and Hollands Diep. We also rent out 3 hard bellyboats to fish the smaller rivers and lakes. Furthermore, I own another rental boat to go fishing on the beautiful river Linge by yourself or guided. This boat is electrical, permanent in the water, ready to fish, and located in Arkel. This river is good for lots of fish species, also non-predator fish such as Bream, Roach, and Tinca Tinca as well as predatory fish such as Pike, Zander, Perch, Asp, and Catfish. Fishing is what it is all about!

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
