Pike Perch (Zander), Northern Pike, European Perch, Asp, and more are in the cards if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to jig using light tackle. Capt. Toine also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear. Fishing on these trips is limited to catch and release, aside from one fish you will be able to keep.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome and child-sized life vests are available. Otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your day begins aboard a 16’ Starweld aluminum fishing boat that holds up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. Capt. Toine will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Make sure to check with the captain on the river you would like to fish on, to arrange the place to meet.

You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
