Charlotte Harbor, with its labyrinth of mangrove-lined channels and estuarine flats, is a haven for a diverse array of inshore species such as Snook, Redfish, and Spotted Sea Trout. Enlisting the expertise of a seasoned charter boat captain ensures not only a seamless and safe journey through these winding waterways but also invaluable local knowledge of the best fishing spots and techniques.
Picture yourself aboard a meticulously maintained vessel, guided by a captain who knows the ebb and flow of these inshore habitats like the back of their hand. The experience promises not just a day of angling but a holistic immersion into the natural beauty and rich marine life of Charlotte Harbor, making each fishing trip a personalized and unforgettable adventure in Punta Gorda's inshore fishing paradise.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board.
Your boat for the day is a 20' Low Tide flats boat with room for 4 passengers. It has all the essentials. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but it's good to ask about this so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for a good time! Be mindful that some species may have special rules or limited seasons. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more. It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunblock. Bottled water is free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
A tip is appreciated for all of his hard work.

Clean boat, nice equipment and Chris was very helpful keeping bait on the lines and giving us pointers along the way. We went to several different spots and even though we didnt catch a ton it was still a great day. Good for all ages and skill levels. Put your sunscreen on before you leave becasue space is limited on the boat

Great times
We booked a fishing trip with Chris for 4 hours and we caught around 50 fish and 5 keepers. We caught Snook, trout, mangrove snapper. Chris kept our lines supplied with bait and took every fish off the hook. He was easy going, patient and a gave good pointers when needed. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a good time with a great guide that knows his way around these waters.
Since our boys were little (now 18 and 21), we've gone on fishing trips with Captain Chris when we're vacationing in Florida. The personalized service and knowledge Captain Chris brings to each charter makes every experience memorable. The boys always fish for and catch a variety of fish with enough to eat for a couple dinners. If you are looking for a family friendly fishing trip that will leave you with lifelong memories, then Captain Chris is the perfect choice!
We really enjoy our time on the water with Chris. He works hard to make sure we have a great experience and has always put us on the fish.

Punta Gorda, Florida, United States
I was born and raised in Punta Gorda and grew up fishing in Charlotte Harbor and Gulf. I love helping families have a great time on the water, fishing, or even just a day at the beach.
