Sneekermeer Pike, Perch, Zander fishing

These waters are known for Pike Perch (Zander), European Perch, Golden Perch, Northern Pike, Asp, Catfish, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Patrick also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear since the captain has only 1 rod. But you’re always welcome to try that one.

Capt. Patrick believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so get ‘em offline and onto the water! There are life vests for everybody! So no worry about that! Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Capt. Patrick welcomes you aboard an 18’ sportfishing vessel with a capacity for 4 passengers. It comes with all the equipment needed including rods and lures, and everything else you need for a productive day on the water.

Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect. A few items to bring include sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water.  Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
