If you're here to make the most of fishing in Naifaru, look no further than GalleonMV. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Mohamed knows them forwards and back.
Around here the fishing is popular for Skipjack Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo, African Pompano Jack, Skipjack, Rainbow Runner, Lobster, Coral Trout, Sailfish, Dogtooth Tuna, and more with any luck. On these trips, it’s common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Kids are welcome, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites so that everyone stays happy and energized!
You'll be welcome aboard a 24' sportfishing boat that can carry up to 4 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. Capt. Mohamed will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures.
You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
It's always wise to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks provided on board.
Now, come aboard with GalleonMV and get hooked!
