Make the most of your time in the Finger Lakes and go fishing with the Greatest Catch Fishing Charters. Having logged many hours on these lakes, Captain Corey is prepared to put you on fish. As a career Flight Paramedic as well as volunteering with Owasco fire department for the last 18 years, Captain Corey takes safety at the forefront. Our vessel is equipped with the most up to date safety equipment to ensure your day on the water remains as safe as possible.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting Smallmouth Bass, Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Largemouth Bass, Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout & Lake Trout.
Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself utilizing spinning rods, trolling with downriggers and planner boards or maybe something more specialized if you are pursuing a specific species.
Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Child-sized life vests are available(Coast Guard off shore type 1 which are not comfortable to wear all day), otherwise you should bring your own.
You'll be dropping lines from a 2024 - 23' Starcraft Fishmaster with a capacity for 5 passengers. It comes with the most up-to-date electronics including Garmin Livescope. All this technology will ensure you have a productive day on the water.
Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included (based on the type of fishing).
Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain. Fishing licenses are required for anyone over the age of 16. You can obtain a License online or any local sporting license retailer (Walmart , Bass Pro, Town Offices)
It's recommended to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid glass bottles.

What a great day of fishing. Cory took us out and put us on fish right away. His boat and equipment are top notch. I highly recommend fishing with him. We will be going out with him again this fall.

Had an amazing time out on the lake with a very knowledgeable and professional Captain. The boat was top-of-the-line — extremely well-maintained and equipped with state-of-the-art fishing gear and advanced technology that made the whole experience smooth and efficient. The Captain clearly knew the lake and the fish, which made the trip both fun and successful. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a high-quality fishing experience, and I’m already looking forward to going again!
My girlfriend and I just got done fishing with Corey and we couldn't have asked for a better charter. Our first impression was that Corey's boat and all of his equipment was top quality; It is clear he takes pride in his work and puts a lot of effort into making sure his clients are successful in catching all of the fish Owasco Lake has to offer. Corey possesses an intimate knowledge of the lake that comes only from growing up and spending one's life there. During the course of the trip, we got a tour of the entire lake and all of his favorite fishing spots. He was even gracious enough to show us his family's camp on the Eastern shore which was truly impressive! Caught plenty of rainbow trout for dinner that night. Corey was interactive and professional. He worked hard to to make our trip enjoyable. His boat and gear were clean and state of the art. We will definately be back again!

Corey is an expert fisherman! He was so great with our 9 year old son. He made sure we caught fish and had a great time, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the best spots to catch fish, with state of the art equipment on his boat. We can’t wait to come back and fish with him again!
