+76The VENTURE Boat from MANA Cruises is perfect for exploring the nearshore waters of Ko Olina and West Oahu. Our crew consistently cruise and fish within 1-2 miles from shore in depths of 10 feet to 100 fathoms. We run 2-5 poles at a time and have two active anglers at a time.
Aboard the VENTURE Boat we focus on nearshore fishing, light tackle trolling, bottom fishing, novice fishing, snorkeling, wildlife viewing, swimming and having fun - perfect for the whole family!
We offer Private Charters for up to six guests.
With our seasoned captains learn about local fishing technique, lures, ocean safety and more. Based on your experience, and general circumstances - most trips spend time light tackle trolling and bottom fishing.
Though we practice catch and release for most fish caught, taking your catch home is a possibility based on legal limits and the Captain's discretion. To protect and care for our reef we do often return all bottom fish back to the ocean.
Keep an eye on the water as ocean life can be found at anytime, anywhere. We may get a visit from Hawaiian Spinner Dolphin, Humpback Whales (seasonally), Bottlenose Dolphin and even Flying Fish.
Aboard our 32' Sport Catamaran, you'll experience the perfect blend of adventure and comfort. Our Fish + Snorkel charters provide a fantastic option to enjoy a little bit of both activities (gear provided), offering fun for the entire family!
For comfort, our vessel includes an onboard toilet, Hawaiian chips, snacks, water, juices, and coconut water. Extra cooler storage and ice are available for guests to bring additional food and drinks.
State of Hawaii Fishing Licenses are required for all participating non-resident anglers 15 years or older with exception to active duty military members. You may purchase your license and find further information online.
The VENTURE Boat is not a "Deep Sea" Fishing Charter. Please contact us for referrals to other "Deep Sea" Charter providers.

Ko Olina Fish + Snorkel Venture 10a on June 20, 2025
This was my family’s favorite O’ahu adventure so far. I have a 4 year old, 9 year old, and 12 year old who has special needs, and Lindsay and Garrett made all of the activities accessible and fun for everyone’s comfort level. They constantly checked in with us and made sure everyone was having a great time, and they adjusted the trip to what we wanted it to be! They both knew the reef super well, which made it easy for the kids to catch fish and enjoy snorkeling. Snorkeling on the reef was my absolute favorite. Sooooo beautiful swimming with the gorgeous fish of the reef. We also got lucky and saw sea turtles and spinner dolphins!! 10/10!!! Thank you, Garrett and Lindsay for the best trip. 😍

Ko Olina Fish + Snorkel Venture 1p on December 29, 2024
We charter boats on every family trip (I think this was our 5th or 6th). This was by far the best we’ve ever experienced! It was amazing start to finish. JJ and Lindsey were great with me, my wife, and our 3 boys (12,9,7). We started with a relaxing and fun snorkel session. One of our boys was not into it so he stayed on the boat with JJ. Instead of just sitting there, JJ fished with him and he got to catch a fish. Snorkeling with Lindsey was fantastic as she spent time making sure we saw the beautiful underwater world. Next we headed out to fish and JJ put us on Tuna before moving in so the boys could bottom fish. All in all we caught Tuna, snapper, goatfish and a couple others. Finally, JJ ensured put us in position to see a pod of dolphins and probably 10 whale sightings. It was a perfect day!

Ko Olina Nearshore Fishing Venture on June 16, 2025
First time on the ocean, could not have asked for a better captain. We all caught fish!🤩 Captain Mark talked to us about what we wanted during our trip and helped with all aspects. He also talked to us about the island and what we were seeing. Such an amazing adventure. If I ever make it back to Hawaii I will book with him.

A great morning on the water
Ko Olina Nearshore Fishing Venture on February 4, 2025
We had a 3hr sunrise fishing outing with Capt Mark. Mark was the perfect host/capt for our family of 5, with 3 20 somethings. I wouldn't say that trolling for Marlin is an active outing because the trolling is inactive for those of us wanting to fish but if you happen to snag a marlin then it's extremely active. We had a combination of trolling and then bottom fishing. We saw many, many whales in the area. I highly recommend this outing. It was our family's favorite outing of the week.

Ko Olina Fish + Snorkel Venture 1p on July 22, 2024
Booked this charter without knowing much about it. When we got to the boat to check in I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the boat was. Upon starting the tour was also pleasantly surprised at how friendly Captain Mark and his first mate Sienna were to me and my family. We started out by snorkeling for the first hour and after that captain mark took us further out for some bottom fishing. We managed to catch a few fish in which captain mark was very knowledgeable about the species of fish that we caught. We were going for one more drop when his first mate noticed a dolphin. At that point captain mark drove the boat towards the dolphin and within a minute we were amazed to see over 50+ dolphins swimming next to the boat. We were able to get lots of videos of the dolphins swimming side by side next to the boat and jumping out of the water playfully. This lasted for about 5 minutes and definitely was the highlight of the tour which made it well worth the time and money spent. Although they don’t promise to see something like this on every tour it was an experience that will last a lifetime.
