The Good Life Guide Service is here to show you the stunning waters of the Lake of the Ozarks. With Captain Mike at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
These waters are home to Paddlefish, Catfish, Crappie, and more if you cast your line at the right time of year. On these trips, it’s common to troll, drift, and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle, and use livescope, depending on target species.
If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! All guests must wear life vests, and we will have the appropriate sizes available on board. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly! We also have access to a bar and grill, with multiple places to use the restroom up and down the lake.
You’ll be welcome aboard a 26’ SeaArk with room for 6 passengers. It has a fighting chair, a weatherproof full enclosure, and all the essentials for making your trip an unforgettable experience. Capt. Mike will provide rods and reels for you.
Before coming aboard, you will be required to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. Kids under 15 can snag and fish without a license. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
