The Riko Riko is a 38’ Lidguard saltwater fishing boat. It has a great history as a versatile commercial vessel, fishing both the North and South Islands, and out of Auckland for the last 7 years. With plenty of space, it can accommodate up to 10 anglers, and always has a great atmosphere on board.
It is powered by a 180 HP Ford engine, so it will get you to the best fishing spots in a matter of minutes. There’s GPS, a fishfinder, a radar, and VHF radio on board. The boat features outriggers, a live bait tank, and an icebox, as well as a kitchen and a toilet.
Riko Boat Charters offer full day trips, which can be flexible to suit group bookings. Target species include Snapper, Kahawai (Salmon), Trevally, Gurnard, John Dory, Squid, Kingfish, and more. The crew will provide everything you need – just bring your lunch or snacks, walk on and walk off, and enjoy yourselves! Make your way to Bayswater Marina by car, ferry or bus.
