These waters are known for Walleye, and more – with any luck, you’ll find out for yourself! On these trips, it’s common to troll using light tackle.

Young ones are welcome, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. And, you can’t go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty belly!

Your adventure begins aboard a 21’ Ranger that can carry up to 2 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is available, but you should ask the captain whether you’ll be catching it yourself.

Before coming aboard, you’ll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen (non-spray), bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
