Book Your Next Adventure with Marco Fishing Company — Where the Bait's Fresh and the Stories Are Fresher
Ready to trade screen time for scream-drag? Come fish the wild beauty of Marco Island, Goodland, and the legendary Ten Thousand Islands with Captain Jamie Cox — a local pro who knows these waters like the back of his sunburned hand.
You'll be targeting the usual suspects and then some: snook, redfish, spotted seatrout, mangrove snapper, cobia, sheepshead, black drum, tarpon, and whatever else decides to crash the party. These waters are full of surprises — and we know where they like to hide.
Depending on conditions and what's biting, you might be spinning, popping, jigging, bottom fishing, or using a few tricks Captain Jamie's picked up after years of chasing fins in the backcountry. It's hands-on, light tackle, high-fun Florida fishing at its finest.
This trip is perfect for all skill levels — from wide-eyed kids to salty veterans — and yes, we love getting the little ones on the water. Kids under 7 will need a life vest, so give us a heads-up to make sure we've got the right fit. And don't forget the snacks… no one catches fish when they're hangry.
You'll be fishing aboard an 18' bay boat built for sneaking through the shallows and hugging the mangroves, with room for up to r passengers. We provide the rods, reels, tackle, and live bait — and you won't need a license either, so you can just hop in the car and meet us at the dock.
Bring sunglasses, non-spray sunscreen, and whatever drinks make you happy (beer's fine, just skip the hard stuff and leave the glass at home). Captain Jamie will take care of the rest.
Sometimes the fish win. But a day on the water? That's always a victory. Let's make it happen — with Marco Fishing Company.

Booked trip based on reviews since I was not familiar with anyone in the area. The boat captain was right on time and had everything ready to go when we got there. We boarded and headed out for the trip. The captain was very helpful and kept my buddy and I with bait on the hook. We definitely did our share feeding the fish and were able to catch some too. The weather was great and it was nice traveling between fishing locations. While we didn't catch any wall hangers we had a great experience and have nothing but good things to say about The Marco Fishing Company and our captain for the day Thomas Schmidt. Thanks for a good time.
We our locals to Marco and Naples and took our guests from Maine on a charter with Captain Matt. It was incredible, Matt was super professional, friendly, and knowledgeable of the waters. We caught SO many fish and explored some really cool spots. We plan to bring many more guests to fish with Matt in the future and you definitely should too. Also I have to say we booked this so last minute (literally an hour before set off) and their ability to accomodate us so fast was truly seamless and professional. THANK YOU!

So glad we were able to make it work. Captain Matt knows how to find the fish for sure. glad you had a food trip. We will see you next time!
Our captain, Jamie was great with teaching my kids all about fishing. We caught multiple fish! I would highly recommend Marco Fishing. Everything ran right on time amd was well organized. there was good communication before the trip, I knew exactly where to go.
It was a relaxing experience for our family. Our 11 and 12 year old kids enjoyed learning how to fish with our captain Dominic. He was patient and kind. We caught all sorts of fun fishes, sharks and crabs. He even had a magic trick to bring dolphins to follow our boat and play in the water. That was quite a show. Thank you Dominic for a wonderful experience!
I booked this trip as a chance to get some fishing in and more importantly get my son out on the water. Cpt Dominick was great taking with him and helping him “catch” fish. We several fish and my son can’t wait to go again next year.
