These waters are known for Amberjack, Bonito, Dentex, Mahi Mahi, Dusky Grouper, Leerfish (Garrick), Little Tunny (False Albacore), Scorpionfish, Squid, Swordfish, Bluefin Tuna, and more – with any luck, it won’t be long before "Fish on!" You can expect to do some spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

If you’re traveling with the family, you will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks – lucky for you, there will already be some on board!

You’ll find yourself aboard a 31’ Balt Yacht with a capacity for 7 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.

You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Some essentials to bring are bottled water, sunblock (non-spray), and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks provided on board.
