Gone Phishing Charter Guide – Detroit River

These waters are known for Walleye, and more – with any luck, you'll find out for yourself! You can expect to do some jigging, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Your trip begins aboard a 21' Sportfishing Ranger that holds up to 6 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's always wise to bring sunscreen (non-spray), sunglasses, and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
