Get to know Crandon like never before when you book a trip through Alloway Outfitters LLC.
Here you’ll have access to backcountry waters, including some honeyholes that only a local guide can show you.
Around here it’s common to go light tackle fishing, and that’s what you can expect on the day of your trip. You can also do a bit of spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, drifting, and maybe more your guide wants to show you. Ryon will provide rods and reels, as well as lures and live bait.
Yellow Perch, Musky, Sunfish, Crappie, Brook Trout, Walleye, Northern Pike, and more could be biting, depending on conditions.
Fish that meet size and bag requirements are yours to take home. Ryon will even clean your catch for you so it’s hassle-free when you get home. Now that’s a fresh meal! You’ll be fishing aboard a 21’ Aluminum fishing that holds up to 6 passengers.
Be sure to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group ahead of time. You can find out more online, including exceptions that may apply. You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring sunblock, sunglasses, and bottled water, rain or shine.
Ryon will have some snacks and drinks for you. This is a kid-friendly experience, so feel free to bring the whole family along and pack any extras they need. Remember to ask if child-sized life vests are available; otherwise, you’ll have to bring your own.
